Child Burial (1/6)

A tragical discovery is made in the nationally renowned Aargau Museum of Art. A small coffin containing a baby skeleton has been put in front of the painting "Child Burial" by Albert Anker from 1863. This morbid mise-en-scène not only preoccupies Luc Conrad and the local police but also divorced couple Irene and Tobias. Their child has been kidnapped ten years ago: Is this the skeleton of their long lost daughter? It soon becomes clear: A criminal mastermind is at work pursuing a cruel plan. He turns father Tobias into a fugitive, being suspected of having murdered his missing child.

During her daily run Anna-Maria meets charming Sebastian. With Erika being absent, hell has broken loose at the Conrad funeral home: Appointments are forgotten, bookkeeping is in disarray and every cleaning lady throws in the towel after the first day. Due to the museum discovery Luc neglects his duties once again and clashes with Fabio. He is a newly certified funeral director. His self-confidence has grown accordingly.
