When the kids move out, parents have to rediscover and reinvent themselves, and ask themselves if their lives, marriages and relationships even have a future any more.
After her son Eric moves out, Katrin mainly wants to devote herself to her physiotherapy practice. But her father Hans and her ex-husband Daniel suddenly demand all her attention: Hans has a bicycle accident, and Daniel wants to take the house away. Then fate finally seems to smile on her when she starts a new relationship with Stefan. Having a fresh romance after all those years as a single mother is a good feeling. And then her son Eric shows up at her door again unexpectedly instead of going to college in far-away Copenhagen, with a big announcement to make. It's all getting too much for her. Katrin decides something's gotta change. But what?
