At the End of the Day (12/12)

After 20 years behind bars, Nick Graf gets out of jail. In the '70s and '80s, he committed a series of violent bank robberies with his wife. Now, he's seriously ill and has nothing to lose. His only thought is exacting vengeance on Rudi Fromm, the cop who arrested him, before he dies. Even though the former chief detective is retired by now, he takes up the challenge, disappears and begins hunting Graf in turn. Detectives Dellwo and Sänger do their utmost to protect their old boss and prevent a disaster. But as they delve deeper into the case, they have to confront suspicions that their former chief may have committed murder, too. Dellwo refuses to believe it, insisting his former colleague could never commit murder. The spectacular wrap-up for the long-running and popular cop duo Dellwo and Sänger (Jörg Schüttauf and Andrea Sawatzki) scored top ratings on its prime time premiere in 2010, with a 23.3% share.
