Explorers, Gold and Slaves - the former World Empire of Portugal (8/21)

In the 16th century, Portugal was the world's number one empire and this era is now referred to as the "golden age" of Portugal. They lead him from Morocco via Ghana and India to Macao, which was Portugal's last colony and profitable base.
