"Explosive TV...Doesn't pull any punches between the credible and the incredible." (Tagesspiegel)

The life of ten-year-old Romanian girl Fee changes forever when her father sells her off to strangers, thinking he's providing a better life for her. She's auctioned off to the highest bidder, child trafficker Ronnie. Together with orphan boy Bran, Fee winds up in a brothel for child prostitutes in Berlin disguised as a single's club. Young police investigator Karin already has her eye on the club. She gets a search warrant from prosecutor Dorothee, but someone warns the club operators ahead of the raid. By the time the police arrive, the kids are gone. But Karin finds Fee in a hiding place. Prosecutor Lessing has to face up to the fact there is a leak in the department, and that leak may be her friend and colleague, Judge Hans Neidhart. And he may not be the only pedophile in a powerful position.Ronnie, the child trafficker, wants out and starts collaborating with the police. Thanks to his tip-off, the investigators find a whole group of traumatized kids in an apartment, Bran among them. Bran testifies against local politician Kurt Wagner, who abused him in a hotel room. The judge doesn't believe the boy's testimony, however, and Bran flees out the window. When Ronnie's application for witness protection is turned down despite his useful testimony, he switches sides again - and becomes the greatest threat to the investigations, and to Fee.
